I set myself a challenge to recreate some movie posters, in my own image, as it were. That is to say, using myself as the subject, and with a touch of my own artistic intent. This has been a fantastic way for me to learn more about using lights, as well as directing poses.
Yes, I grew the facial hair specifically for this photo. As with my Bourne photo, I was doing this by myself, with the camera remote trigger taped to the back of the phone in my left hand. The posing was very much trial and error to get the angle of the phone just right and the camera (gun) pointing at the right place. I had such a cramp in my right hand from holding the camera outstretched at that awkward wrist position. While a Desert Eagle would be a bit heavier, it would be easier to grip. The background is a train station from my back catalog.
